Highmeadow in the News

Recently Highmeadow has been in the news for our use of technology. The first was an article in the Observer and Eccentric about using Skype during math class while a student was away in India and the second was in the Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch about the School Board appreciation presentation.

Third Grade

Third Graders have been working extremely hard on becoming expert keyboardists. For the past 5 weeks they have spent 15-20 minutes daily working on the program Type To Learn. While typing they focus on using home keys, keeping their eyes on the screen and increasing their words per minute (WPM). Congratulations to Third Grade for all their hard work!
